As Senior Director of Energy Markets and Sustainability at Edison Energy, Emily works with Edison’s clients (corporations, universities and cities) focused on sustainability issues in the US and internationally. Since joining Edison Energy, she has originated over 2,500 MW of off-site wind and solar projects across the United States and Mexico and helped a major U.S. retailer design and implement an on-site solar portfolio across over 100 stores. Prior to this role, Emily managed the Renewables Advisory Supply team, which worked to connect non-utility buyers with developers and projects based on strict criteria and Edison Energy’s proprietary database. Previously, Emily was the Deputy Director, Industry Data and Analysis at the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA). She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and thought leader on effectively using renewable energy as part of a larger GHG reduction strategy She holds a master’s degree in Science & Security from Kings College London, and degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Political Science from the University of Illinois.
