Yvette Dennis joined AIG Investments as Vice President in the Infrastructure Group in 2017. As a long-term investor in the private placement and 144(a) capital markets, the Infrastructure Group manages an estimated $13 billion portfolio of more than 230 investments in 17 countries on behalf of AIG insurance companies. Investments are in energy, infrastructure and natural resources projects as well as electric, gas and water utilities. Yvette performs due diligence on transactions from construction to commercial operation through the life of the debt.
Previously, Yvette Dennis worked 10 years at Fitch Ratings most recently as Senior Director in the agency’s Global Infrastructure and Project Finance Group. Her primary focus was in assessing credit risks and assigning ratings for energy, water and other infrastructure projects in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. Previously, Yvette served as a Director in Fitch’s Public Finance Group focusing on municipal electric and water utilities. Prior to joining Fitch, Yvette spent 10 years in the U.S. federal government as Deputy Director of microfinance at the U.S. Agency for International Development and as a credit analyst at the Office of Management and Budget. Yvette earned a BA in political science from Ursinus College in Pennsylvania as well as a MPA and certificate of Latin American Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
