ACORE Health & Safety Protocols for Events

As we return to in-person events, our number one priority remains the health and safety of all participants.  
 
ACORE will adhere to and may exceed the recommended guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to facilitate a safe return to in-person events. 
 

EVENT POLICIES

Vaccination

VACCINATION:

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, ACORE has implemented a vaccination entry requirement that all attendees arefully up to date on their COVID-19 vaccines. Exceptions can be made and are detailed in the below table.

Vaccination Status and ACORE Events 
Status  Up to date: Vaccinated + Booster  Vaccinated  Not Vaccinated 
Definition  A person is considered up to date and optimally protected if they have received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible.  A person considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-shot series, such as the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines, or a single-dose vaccine, such as the J&J vaccine.  Any person who has not received their second dose in a two-shot series, such as the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines, or a single-dose vaccine, such as the J&J vaccine. 
Event Requirement  Able to attend by providing proof of vaccination and booster at check-in.   Permitted to attend but must either provide proof of negative test (rapid or PCR) taken within 48 hours of meeting date. Not permitted to attend without prior approval of exemption. To request an exemption, reach out to events@acore.org

FACE MASKS:

While a formal mask mandate may not be in place at the time of the event, face coverings are recommended for all event participants regardless of their vaccination status. 

ADDITIONAL SAFETY PROTOCOLS:

We want you to feel safe while attending ACORE’s in-person events. Here is what we’re doing to ensure health and safety of our attendees is at the forefront.

  • Daily health check required by all attendees. Participants should stay home if they feel sick or have any COVID-19 symptoms.   
  • Name badges must beworn at all times. 
  • Increased hand sanitizing stations will be made availableat the event venue. 
  • Event spaces will be set up in compliance with the current social distancing and capacity guidelines to ensure you can participate safely.  
  • Guests are asked to engage in appropriate physical distancing andberespectful of all other attendees and their comfort levels. 
  • Event venues have implemented a comprehensive range of health and safety measures including enhanced cleaning protocols and filtration.  

PROOF OF VACCINATION STATUS

When you Register: 

  • When registering for the event, you will be asked to certify that you are up to date on your COVID vaccination and booster and that you agree to follow the rules and guidance from ACORE, the event venue, and the CDC when attending.  

At Event Check-in: 

All staff, speakers, attendees, and sponsors need to show proof of full vaccination and booster to attend ACORE events. 

For proof of vaccination, attendees must provide:  

  • A CDC issued vaccination card (original, photocopy, or digital copy/photo) along with photo identification such as:  
    • State issued driver’s license or limited purpose driver’s license  
    • Any other state issued identification card  
    • Passport

Exemptions for providing proof of vaccination and booster:  

Patrons who have and show documentation of medical or religious exemptions from the COVID-19 vaccine must provide both of the following: 

  • Lab or doctor-verified results from a negative PCR or antigen test within the last 48 hours. 
  • Documentation of a medical or religious exemption, such as a note from a medical provider or an attestation from the patron that they have a sincerely held religious belief.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

    Stay home if you are sick. If you or someone you have been in close contact with is experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, do not attend the event. Please reach out to events@acore.org to request a refund*. Guests who cannot attend will be given the option to attend virtually.

    Bring proof of vaccination. All staff, speakers, attendees, and sponsors need to show proof of full vaccination and booster to attend ACORE events. This includes a CDC or government issued vaccination card (original, photocopy, or digital copy/photo) along with photo identification.

    Don’t forget your mask. Wearing a mask that covers your nose and mouth (regardless of vaccination status) is required at our events. If you forget, we will have one available for you at the registration desk. 

*Cancellations within 14 days of the event are eligible for a refund worth up to 50% of a full-price ticket.

Please note that ACORE will continue to follow CDC, State, and City guidance and mandates for all events. The COVID-19 pandemic is a fluid and ever-changing situation. Therefore, new requirements may be in place upon arrival at the event, and we will do our best to communicate any changes in advance. Your health and well-being remain our number one priority.
